Kasper Schmeichel Maybe Head Hunted By Barcelona
Some reports are suggesting that Schmeichel junior may be in the spotlight for a possible transfer to Barcelona...man I love hear say! But can you imagine how massive that would be? Kasper is the son of Manchester United giant Peter Schmeichel, and all reports show that the young guy has the goods, just like his old man. Currently on loan over at Cardiff from Manchester City, it would be interesting to see if Kasper indeed takes a chance over at Nou Camp?
Following is a pre game warm up video that I came across very recently with Schmeichel showing some great pre match routine and form. It's interesting to see before the shot, Kasper's stance is low in the ready position, with legs splayed wide briefly before attacking the ball. He also covers the ball beautifully low to the ground, getting his whole body behind the ball, and smothering the ball well to lessen it's impact. The third dive shows beautiful reflex to his left to get to a pretty difficult and powerful shot in time.
